NATIONAL University retained the UAAP men’s volleyball title, completing a sweep the Far Eastern University with a 24-26, 25-23, 25-23, 25-19 victory on Wednesday at the MOA Arena.
MVP Bryan Bagunas led the charge one last time for the Bulldogs and ended his collegiate career with title.
The Bulldogs finished the season with 16 straight wins after losing their campaign opener to the Tamaraws.
Francis Saura, Kim Malabunga and Madz Gampong also played their final season with the Bulldogs.
FEU could not sustain the fine start, settling for silver in its first finals appearance in six years.
