LA Salle's resident big man Ben Phillips taking on a second sport in the UAAP?
That became a possibility after the 6-foot-8 center, who donned the green-and-white in men's basketball and 3x3 basketball, was spotted in the team photoshoot of the DLSU volleyball team on Wednesday afternoon.

Photos of Phillips in the shoot, where he also uses his basketball jersey No. 42, quickly made the rounds on social media as fans speculated on the possibility of him playing two UAAP events concurrently.
Further fueling speculations are his Twitter and Instagram bios, which show basketball and volleyball emojis together.
Phillips — who is also an author and businessman on the side while completing his thesis as a graduating student-athlete — later talked about his stint with the DLSU men's volleyball squad in a podcast.
"I came really late to the [Green Spikers] ... so I'm really having to catch up and learn the system and really hope that I can fit in," Phillips said.
"It's more of a tryout for me as well because there's some wonderful guys on that volleyball team. They're highly skilled, highly competitive, and I'm learning a lot from them as well."
In his second UAAP season with younger brother and UAAP Season 84 mythical five member Michael Phillips, DLSU missed out on a Final Four berth in men's basketball for the third time in four seasons after losing to the Adamson Soaring Falcons in the knockout tiebreaker.
He gets another shot, this time with Topex Robinson as coach and a younger brother, Isaiah Phillips, also vying for a spot in the Green Archers roster.
Now Phillips earns another shot at reaping success for the Taft-based squad in the UAAP Season 85 men's volleyball tournament starting in late February.
