    Nov 16, 2018

TWELVE high school teams from nine regional champions and three foreign squads vie for the much-coveted title as national champion of Rebisco Volleyball League Girls 18 and Under starting on Saturday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The competition to be declared the best girls high school team just got tougher as three international teams will test the mettle of the nine Filipino schools in the RVL national championship that runs until November 23.

All eyes will be on NCR champion Kings’ Montessori School, which dethroned Nazareth School of National University last year.

Kings' Montessori School battles Northern Luzon winner Holy Family Academy at 2 p.m. to kick off its Pool A campaign, followed by a Pool B duel between Southern Luzon champion Holy Rosary College and Central Mindanao title holder St. Alexius College at 3 p.m.

Two international squads, Sarawak Malaysia and Z-Air Maori of New Zealand, will be making their RVL debut facing Pool B teams Bacolod Tay Tung High School and Leyte National High School, respectively.
