WITH nine-time champion Cignal out of the picture, Savouge is positioning itself for a serious climb up Philippine men’s volleyball hierarchy.
The two-time Spikers’ Turf bronze medalists wasted no time capitalizing on the vacuum, locking in a major three-player haul led by former Super Spikers standouts Louie Ramirez, JP Bugaoan, and KC Andrade following the Super Spikers’ leave of absence.

Ramirez headlines the Spin Doctors' most aggressive offseason push to date, as the 25-year-old outside hitter brings proven championship pedigree, having won two titles with Cignal and earning Finals MVP honors in the 2024 Invitational Conference.

He also comes in fresh from international duty, where he figured in Alas Pilipinas Men’s breakthrough run in the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship and a bronze-medal finish in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
Bugaoan, meanwhile, adds veteran heft and leadership at the net, as the former Super Spikers captain arrives with six league titles and four best middle blocker awards.
Completing the trio is Andrade, a proven winner in his own right after anchoring Perpetual’s four-peat in NCAA Season 99, where he also claimed a best middle blocker citation.
Under CEO-slash-head coach Sydney Calderon, Savouge has already developed a solid core bannered by multi-awarded hitters Mark Calado and Sherwin Caritativo, along with middle blocker Giles Torres.

With three straight semifinal appearances in the books, this latest infusion of championship experience signals a clear intent: push past the final four and finally contend for a maiden Spikers’ Turf crown.
