COMING from its international stint, F2 Logistics swept Generika-Ayala, 25-20, 25-16, 25-20, in the Philippine Super Liga Invitational Conference on Thursday at The Arena in San Juan.
The Cargo Movers, who finished fourth in the Sealect Tuna Women’s Volleyball Championship in Sisaket, Thailand, are now 2-0 in Pool A.
Ara Galang scored nine points and 10 excellent receptions for F2 Logistics, while skipper Cha Cruz-Behag added seven markers and 11 digs, as Majoy Baron also had seven points.
“Well ah, malaking bagay kasi ‘yung nakakalabas so in terms of confidence mataas ‘yung kumpyansa ng mga bata,” said F2 Logistics coach Ramil de Jesus.
“Although hindi kami nanalo doon sa tournament doon pero malaking bagay na makakalabas ka ng bansa,” he added.
F2 Logistics had a block part with 11 total rejections in the match that took an hour and 24 minutes to finish.
Patty Orendain made nine points for Generika-Ayala, while Ria Meneses and Angeli Araneta chipped in seven markers apiece.
The Life Savers absorbed their first loss in three outings.
