PLDT Air Force marched to its third straight Super Liga Finals appearance as the Power Attackers disposed of Maybank, 25-19, 25-21, 25-21, on Thursday at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Former University of Santo Tomas standout JP Torres fired 12 points for PLDT Air Force, while Ron Jay Galang, Henry James Pecana, Jayson Ramos and MVPs Kheeno Franco and Ranran Abdilla had six points apiece.
The Power Attackers hold a 5-0 win-loss record in the tournament, extending their unbeaten run to 17 matches dating back to the inaugural Super Liga men’s tournament.
PLDT Air Force, which needed only an hour and 12 minutes to finish the match, will face the winner of the other knockout semifinal match between Cignal and Cavite. The title match will be on November 28.
Jasper Adorador led Maybank with 12 points.
