Stephanie Niemer leads way anew as unbeaten Petron downs winless Cignal in PSL Grand Prix

STEPHANIE Niemer led the way anew for Petron as it extended its winning run to four with a 26-24, 21-25, 25-13, 25-17 victory over Cignal on Saturday in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix at The Arena in San Juan.

The American import had 22 points on 19 kills and eight digs, with 15 excellent receptions for the Tri-Activ Spikers.

Aiza Maizo-Pontillas scored 17 points, while American import Serena Warner added 12, including the team's lone block in the match that lasted almost two hours.

It was the Tri-Activ Spikers’ their fourth win in as many matches, while CIgnal is winless in two outings.

Laura Schaudt of the US scored 14 points and Lynda Morales of Puerto Rico had 12 markers for the HD Spikers.
