F2 Logistics looks to bounce back from a dismal performance and get back on the winning track when it takes on Cignal on Saturday in the Philippine Super Lige Grand Prix.
The Cargo Movers were outplayed in every department in a three-set win by the Tri Activ Spikers, but what F2 coach Ramil de Jesus couldn’t get over with was their poor service reception.
Petron came up with 14 service aces, with nine from import Stephanie Niemer.
The American reinforcement also came up with 12 kills and dour blocks.
“Laging problema ng bawat team ang service ni Niemer, pag na control ang serve niya hindi lalayo ang score ng Petron, eh ’di namin macontrol ang service niya,” said the veteran mentor.
“Mahirap daw talaga i-control ang service ni Niemer,” he added.
F2 Logistics import Hayley Spelman admitted Petron was simply the better team.
“Petron is a great team, they came out playing their best and we just didn’t and we didn’t adjust.”
