THE Philippine Super Liga is adjusting its calendar for 2018 to comply with the International Volleyball Federation and the Asian Volleyball Confederation’s schedules.
The provisional 2018 PSL calendar has the import-flavored Grand Prix scheduled February 17 to May 17, while a Challenge Cup beach volleyball tournament will be held from May 26 to June 16.
The All-Filipino will be held from July 28 to November 15 but will have a break from September 17 to 23 to give way to the 6th AVC Asian Cup for Women in Thailand.
The national team earned a spot in the Asian Cup after making it into the quarterfinals of the 19th Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship in August.
Meanwhile, the Invitational Conference will be scheduled from November to December followed by another beach volleyball tournament.
The PSL will again send a selection to compete in the AVC Asian Women’s Club Championship in Oskemen, Kazakhstan from July 11 to 18.
The previous PSL seasons started with the Invitational Conference followed by the All-Filipino Conference, with the Grand Prix as the season ender.
