DINDIN Santiago-Manabat and Rachel Anne Daquis, playing in their sixth match in six days, continued to lead the way as Petron downed Foton, 25-19, 25-20, 25-14, on Thursday to remain unbeaten in the Philippine Super Liga All Filipino Conference at Cuneta Astrodome.
Santiago-Manabat led all scorers with 17 points as the Blaze Spikers finished the match in an hour and 19 minutes for their eighth win.
Aby Marano, playing her second straight match, scored 11 points, while Daquis managed to come up with nine markers.
Santiago-Manabat is a guest player for Philippine Army, where Daquis is a mainstay, while Marano is playing for Meralco in the Shakey’s V-League.
“Hopefully tuluy-tuloy na (ang magandang chemistry),” said Pascua, who calls the shots in a star-studded team.
Pam Lastimosa scored 10 points for Foton, which suffered its third straight loss and now hold a 3-4 win-loss card.
