FOTON rookie sensation Sisi Rondina suffered an ankle injury in a win against F2 Logistics on Sunday but is not expected to miss any gamesin the Philippine Super Liga All Filipino Conference.

The University of Santo Tomas energizer bunny hurt her ankle after she stepped on the foot of her teammate Jaja Santiago after a spike at the start of the fourth set.

The Cebuana was pulled out and never returned, but the Foton team physical therapist assured that the injury was nothing serious.

"Makaka-recover naman kaagad as per (assessment ng) PT namin," said Foton assistant coach Ian Fernandez. "Kailangan lang niya ng rest and lagyan ng ice 'yung paa niya."

Foton walked away with a four-setter victory over erstwhile undefeated F2 Logistics, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-29, to sweep Group B in the second round.

The Tornadoes will face the losser of the match between RC Cola Army and Petron on Thursday in the knockout semifinals at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Bulacan.
