COACH Ramil de Jesus’ squad looks to score its second win in as many matches and gain a share of the lead as the Lady Clickers battle Philips Gold on Sunday in the Philippine Super Liga All Filipino Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

The Lady Clickers won their opening match against Mane ‘N Tail and a win will put De Jesus in the top spot alongside the Petron squad that now has Aby Marano. and Philips Gold clash at 2:30 p.m.

Rookie Kim Dy made an impressive start for the Lady Clickers with 17 points and is expected to deliver anew, while Myla Pablo tries to carry the Philips Gold squad to its first ever win in the league.

The Lady Slammers hope to limit their errors this time after giving up 39 points to the Blaze Spikers through miscues.

“Definitely sa dami ng errors namin we lack communication, lack of focus,” admitted Philips Gold coach Francis Vicente.

Cignal and Mane ’N Tail also try to score their first win as they clash in the 4:30 p.m. match.

Jannine Navarro and the HD Spikers try to recover from an opening-day loss to Foton, while coach Sammy Acaylar is also counting on Michelle Segudine to deliver after an unimpressive comeback.

Segudine last played in UAAP in 2009 and came up with a measly five markers in Cignal’s opening match, but Acaylar remains confident of his player, who turns 30 on Sunday.

“Although physicaly hindi pa gaanong prepared pero ’yung puso niya at tiwala ako sa kanya kaya umaangat siya,” said Acaylar.

Mane ’N Tail looks to bounce back from the loss to, with Honey Tubino and Abi Praca again expected to carry the scoring load.
