MIKA Reyes insisted she’s not giving up on her volleyball career yet even as she is eyeing other options outside of the playing court.

But when she does get back on the volleyball court, Reyes’ management Virtual Playground hinted that the 22-year-old middle blocker is not certain of suiting up for F2 Logistics in the 2017 season of the Philippine Super Liga.

Virtual Playground CEO Charlie Dy said that although they are currently focused on building up the former La Salle star as a host and model, other teams are already showing interest in tapping the services of the 5-foot-11 middle blocker.

"She will definitely play, volleyball is her passion, it is her first love. In fact, we will base her schedule on the PSL calendar," said Dy. "She will still be available to play from start (of the season) to finish and would still accept international commitments."

"(But) so far we are carefully weighing our options, we can't say that she'll remain with F2 Logistics, because a lot of teams are talking to her na rin and we welcome it," he added.

The sports agent also noted that part of Reyes' growth as a player is to step out of her comfort zone.

The Pulilan, Bulacan native has been under the wings of nine-time UAAP mentor Ramil de Jesus for much of her career. Reyes has won three titles in the UAAP and one championship in the PSL in the 2016 All-Filipino Conference with the veteran coach.

"We want to put her in a place where she can maximize her talents and reach her potential," said Dy.

"At this point, we're very open to anything," he added. "What team (is interested in her)? We'll just surprise you."

The 2017 PSL All-Filipino Conference will start in June.
