F2 Logistics pulled off a more comfortable straight-sets win just a day after a five-set squeaker over Army in the Philippine Super Liga All Filipino Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

The Cargo Movers made it back-to-back wins in consecutive days against Army with a 25-16, 25-12, 25-15 victory on Sunday at the start of the second phase of the eliminations to determine the seeding for the knockout semifinals.

Mika Reyes led all scorers with 12 points with nine attacks, while skipper Cha Cruz had 10 points for F2.

“Sa amin kahapon, parehas pagod so mas bata lang ’yung sa amin kaya alam namin na ’yung mga players ko medyo masasakit ang katawan siguro doble sa kabila advantage namin kasi mas bata,” said Cargo Movers mentor Ramil de Jesus.

F2 Logistics scored 11 on blocks, while Army had none.

“Pinaalala ko lang sa mga bata, ito ang sakit natin pagdating ng third set nakakakuha tayo ng mga sets ito ang problema natin so kapag naulit ulit, hindi tayo natuto. Eh ngayon natuto siguro kasi kinapitan nila ang third set,” said De Jesus.

F2 Logistics will face Petron on Thursday and Foton on Sunday.

“Alam naman natin walang saysay ’tong elimination sa top four eh so alam naman natin pagdating ng semis ’yun ang importante sa cross over kumbaga dito pride lang siguro,” said De Jesus.

Jovelyn Gonzaga had nine points for RC Cola Army.
