RC Cola Army forced a three-way tie for top spot with a 25-17, 25-17, 25-20 rout of hapless Cignal on Saturday in the Philippine Super Liga All Filipino Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

Jovelyn Gonzaga led all scorers with 13 points as the Lady Troopers notched their second win in as many matches, joining F2 Logistics and defending champion Petron on top.

Coach Kungfu Reyes is pleased with Army’s fine start.

Mela Tunay scored eight points for Cignal, winless in two matches and shares the cellar with Amy’s Kitchen.
