FOTON fought back from a set down to deal F2 Logistics its first loss in the Super Liga All Filipino, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-19, and take top spot in the second phase of eliminations on Sunday at The Arena in San Juan.

The Tornadoes completed a three-match sweep of the second phase featuring the four teams set to see action in the semifinals.

The Cargo Movers saw their win run end at eight for the conference and ended with a 2-1 win-loss card in the second round.

Jaja Santiago scored 19 points from spikes and six blocks for the Tornadoes.

"Hindi namin iniisip na undefeated sila, basta alam lang namin na pareho kami ng standing and we’re fighting for the top spot,” said Foton coach Villet Ponce-De Leon.

"Ang goal kasi namin going to this match is to improve kung ano 'yung nilaro namin kahapon and I’m glad to say na nagawa naman namin.”

Skipper Angeli Araneta added 11 points and Patty Orendain delivered nine markers, nine digs and 14 excellent receptions for Foton.

Sisi Rondina scored 11 points before exiting early in the fourth set due to a sprained ankle after stepping on the foot of Santiago.

Ara Galang scored 18 points and Cha Cruz had 17 for the Cargo Movers.
