FOTON recovered from­­ a set down to turn back Mane ‘N Tail, 24-26, 25-19, 25-21, 25-15, in the Philippine Super Liga All Filipino Conference at Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna on Thursday.

Pam Lastimosa scored 16 points, while Patty Orendain added 15 markers for the Tornadoes, who scored their second straight win to tighten its grip on second spot with a 3-1 win-loss card.

"It was expected. We started slow because we haven't played for quite a long time," said Foton coach Villet Ponce-de Leon, whose wards last saw action before the Lenten break.

"Fortunately, our real performance came out later on. I was very satisfied with how we played and I hope we can still sustain this momentum in the next games to come."

Honey Tubino scored 22 points, while Danika Gendrauli contributed 15 for Mane ‘N Tail, which joined sister team Philips Gold at the bottom of the standings with a 1-3 mark.
