F2 Logistics advanced to the semifinals of the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix after it defeated Iriga City, 25-19, 25-12, 25-17, on Tuesday at The Arena in San Juan.

American import Kennedy Bryan and Venezuelan reinforcement Maria Jose Perez led the Cargo Movers after combining for 26 points in the match that took an hour and 19 minutes to finish.

The 2016 All-Filipino champion will face either Cignal or Cocolife in the knockout semifinals on Saturday at the MOA Arena.

“Last week lang, kalaban namin sila (sa elimination round) so uulitin mo lang ang ginawa mo, alam mo nang konti lang ang Iriga so (itong game) building lang ng confidence for the semis,” said F2 Logistics coach Ramil de Jesus.

Although the Cargo Movers defeated both the HD Spikers and the Asset Managers, the 10-time UAAP champion coach does not want to leave any room for complacency.

“Hindi mo pwede balewalain ang dalawang team na ‘yun,” he said. “Although nadaanan na namin sila sa eliminations, pero ibang usapan na ang semis. Malaking adjustment na ang ginawa ng  mga teams.”

Serbian import Tamara Kmezic finished with 15 points for Iriga City, while Japanese Saam Miyagawa added 10.
