COCOLIFE coach Kungfu Reyes hopes to match F2 Logistics’ intensity when they face off in the knockout semifinals of the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The league newcomer is set to clash with the No. 1 team at 4:00 p.m.

Although the Cargo Movers have the edge over in terms of having a younger, stronger lineup, the Asset Managers hope to use their experience and determination to their advantage.

F2 Logistics will again rely on Venezuelan import Maria Jose Perez, who saw action in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, while locals Aby Maraño, Kim Dy, Kim Fajardo and Dawn Macandili are also expected to deliver.

But Reyes is unfazed knowing that his veterans Tina Salak, Ging Balse-Pabayo and Nene Bautista and young guns Michele Gumabao and Denden Lazaro will step up along with American reinforcement Taylor Milton.

But he reminded his team not to get intimidated but instead be motivated to pull off a stunner.

Thats why andito kami (sa semis),” he said. “Sabi ko nga kanina its been a rollercoaster ride pero this time enjoy na namin ‘yung ride namin kasi umakyat na ulit kami.”

Cocolife, which came in fifth both in the Invitational and the All-Filipino Conferences, is gunning for its best finish yet in the league.
