LA Salle star Ara Galang remains undecided in joining the Philippine Super Liga despite attending the PSL rookie camp on Tuesday at The Arena in San Juan.

The hard-hitting spiker participated in the camp but had to leave early to attend to her class.

Sources say that the 21-year old open spiker is weighing her options whether to play or not because of her studies, which she has 19 more units left, and she's also hesitating to get back on the court so soon after playing through a knee injury she suffered in Game 2 of the UAAP Season 78 women’s volleyball finals.

“Nag-aaral pa kasi siya and may injury siya kaya nag-iingat rin,” said the source. “Syempre mahirap na, eh ang buhay ng atleta maikli lang ‘yan lalo na may injury so kailangan niya maalagaan.”

Galang, though, has two options she can take to enter the PSL. She can either join her La Salle teammates in F2 Logistics via direct hire or go in through the draft.

The Cargo Movers are fifth on the draft order, and despite their glaring need for a setter to back up Kim Fajardo, they will definitely pick Galang if she's still available on their turn.

“Sa ngayon kasi, kulang pa kami and setter ang kailangan namin pero kung magpapa-draft siya, siya ang kukunin namin for sure,” said the source.

If Galang will play for F2 she will be reunited with former La Salle players Mika Reyes, Fajardo, Kim Dy, Aby Marano and Cha Cruz.
