IN a rare occasion, outspoken volleyball star Aby Maraño prefers to keep quiet on where he’s headed to in the Philippine Super Liga.

The former La Salle skipper previously suited up for Air Asia, Meralco and Petron, where she won two titles – the Grand Prix and All Filipino conferences, respectively.

But with the new season of the three-year old club league about to start on February 18, Maraño has yet to hook up with any team since his contract with Petron has expired.

Three-time champion Philippine Army expressed its desire to tap the services of Maraño, although insiders within the Lady Troopers admitted there's a slight conflict in hiring her.

“Sa Army ko talaga gusto maglaro,” Maraño told Spin.ph. “(Pero) hindi ko pa masasagot ngayon (kung anong problema). Gusto ko muna manahimik at matapos ang problema na 'yan.”

If Maraño hook up again with Army, she will be reunited with former Petron teammate Rachel Anne Daquis.

The former Far Eastern University stalwart has played for Army, but moved to Petron when the Lady Troopers opted to take a short leave of absence from the league.
