NATIONAL University women's basketball coach Patrick Aquino quashed rumors Myla Pablo, his fiancee, is leaving Premier Volleyball League (PVL) club Pocari Sweat.
Rumors of Pablo's return to the Philippine Super Liga circulated on social media after she posted on her Twitter account a photo of her wearing her Philips Gold jersey.
“Syempre loyality and alaga si My sa kanila,” said Aquino, a four-time UAAP champion coach, when asked why she is staying with Pocari Sweat.
Sources say three PSL teams are willing to buy out her contract from Pocari Sweat.
Last year, Pablo signed a five-year contract with the Lady Warriors and was also rewarded with a brand-new car after helping the team score back-to-back championships in the Shakey's V-League.
Pablo last played in the PSL in 2015 in the Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, Pocari Sweat will get back in action in the PVL next year.
