F2 Logistics star Cha Cruz is more inspired to play now that she’s Mrs. Ray Behag.
The former PSL ambassador finished with seven points in the Cargo Movers’ straight-set win over Smart, 25-22, 25-18, 25-17, on Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.
Cruz married her longtime boyfriend last week but didn’t even take a leave from playing, seeing action against Petron on the Saturday after the wedding.
“Well syempre alam mo ‘yun, responsibility eh, alam ko naman na priority talaga ‘to and it just so happened na ang wedding eh in the middle of the conference,” she said.
The F2 Logistics skipper noted that having a supportive husband makes her more motivated than ever. Even before they got married, Cruz disclosed to SPIN.ph that her husband will still allow her to play.
“I’m also happy that my husband - yehey, husband na - is very supportive. He knows that I’m enjoying my job and I’m enjoying what I do,” she said.
“Also I’m motivated kasi I want to savor every moment, kasi who knows something might happen lalo ngayon (na kasal na),” she added.
As for any baby plans, Cruz shared that they’re taking their time.
She shared that since last year she’s taking maintenance medicine for her thyroid condition and it will take one more year before they'll find out if it will be fine to have a baby.
“Titignan nila within two years and if everything’s gonna be okay, then good. If not, bawal pa otherwise baka magkaroon ng complication,” she said.
“I think that’s also a blessing in disguise na I can still play so we’ll see even after that,” she added.
