DEFENDING champion F2 Logistics swept Generika-Ayala, 25-18, 25-16, 25-12, to end the first round in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix on Thursday at The Arena in San Juan.
Venezuelan import Maria Jose Perez led the Cargo Movers with 18 points.
F2 Logistics finished the first round at the No. 2 spot with a 6-1 win-loss record, behind unbeaten Petron (7-0).
Aby Maraño made nine markers for the Cargo Movers, while skipper Cha Cruz and Ara Galang each had eight points.
As per league rules, the No. 1 team after the first round will be grouped in Pool A together with the No. 3, No. 6 and No. 8 teams.
Meanwhile, the second seed will join the fourth, fifth and seventh seeds in Pool B for another round of action.
American import Symone Hayden made 11 points for Generika-Ayala, which slid to 1-5.
The Life Savers will end the first round against Cignal to determine its placing for the second round.
