CIGNAL star Jovelyn Gonzaga was cleared from any major injury, according to head coach George Pascua.
The veteran coach confirmed to SPIN.ph on Wednesday that the opposite spiker sustained a muscle strain after an awkward landing in a loss to F2 Logistics in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix on Tuesday night at The Arena in San Juan.
"She is okay, no surgery (needed). Rest (lang) ng one to two weeks for recovery," said Pascua.
Gonzaga was crying in pain as she was stretchered off the court and was immediately rushed to Cardinal Santos Medical Center in Wilson St. San Juan on Tuesday night.
