JERRY Yee stepped down as head coach of Sta. Lucia after one season.
The veteran mentor announced his resignation during the Lady Realtors’ Christmas party last week, even as his contract will only expire on December 31.
“Nag-announce na tayo ng resignation ng mas maaga to give them time to look for a new coach,” said Yee.
Yee, who came in just two weeks before the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix, steered the Lady Realtors to a quarterfinals finish.
“I wish them (Lady Realtors) well and I’m proud (of what we have achieved),” he said.
Meanwhile, Yee confirmed that he will be handling Total in the Premier Volleyball League.
Although he refused to give in to details, he said that he’s talking to La Salle women’s volleyball patron Raffy Villavicencio.
“Nakikipag-usap tayo ngayon kay Mr. Villavicencio and gusto natin na maging competitive kaagad,” he said.
