F2 Logistics cruised to its third straight win after an easy beating of RC Cola Army, 25-21, 25-18, 25-17, in the Philiippine Super Liga Grand Prix at The Arena in San Juan on Tuesday.
American imports Hayley Spelman and Sidney Kemper led the attack for the Cargo Movers, while locals Aby Marano and Ara Galang stepped up as well.
Spelman overcame a bout with food poisoning early Tuesday to finish with 18 points for F2 Logistics, while Kemper added 11, Marano chipped in nine and Galang contributed six.
Kim Fajardo dished out all but one of F2 Logistics’ 21 excellent sets as she orchestrated a well-executed attack (34-26).
“Siguro kanina maganda ang naging first ball namin and nagkakaroon na ng connection sa isa’t-isa ang setter to spiker, libero to setter so ‘yun ang isang magandang improvement sa team,” said Cargo Movers mentor Ramil de Jesus.
Jovelyn Gonzaga led the Lady Troopers with 11 points as the former three-time champion RC Cola Army absorbed its third consecutive loss and fell to 1-3.
