F2 Logistics outside hitter Ara Galang will be sidelined for three weeks to fully recover from her minor left knee operation.
Galang missed the Cargo Movers’ opening game, which F2 Logistics lost to defending champion Foton, 18-25, 20-25, 15-25, in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix on Saturday at The Arena in San Juan.
F2 Logistics head coach Ramil de Jesus confirmed that Galang had a minor surgery on her left knee to repair some bruised muscles, but the veteran mentor and Galang both assured that there is nothing to worry about.
“Wala naman, okay lang naman, kailangan lang ipahinga” said the 21-year-old spiker.
Team manager Hollie Reyes also stressed that the operation was nothing serious and they were just avoiding any other complications that’s why Galang was benched the entire game.
“It was just a minor operation, Ara was even an outpatient when she undergone operation,” said Reyes. “She’ll be back after the break.”
F2 does not see action until Nov. 3 when it takes on Cignal on Cignal.
