NEW year, new beginning for Francis Vicente.
On the last day of 2017, Generika-Ayala ended a partnership with Vicente, who called the shots for the Life Savers for two seasons in the Philippine Super Liga.
Although it was not the way he wanted to end the year, the veteran coach said the parting of ways with Generika gives him the perfect opportunity to start over in the new year.
“Now I can give my full attention to my collegiate team (University of the East) and the national team,” said Vicente.
The UAAP women’s volleyball tournament will start on February.
Meanwhile, Generika-Ayala has a shortlist of coaches and will announce the replacement anytime soon.
