FORMER Philippine Super Liga president Tats Suzara welcomed any investigation into allegations of qualified theft filed by the PSL board against him.

On Thursday, the PSL board headed by vice president Dr. Ian Laurel and director for legal affairs Atty. Melinda Salcedo, filed a complaint of qualified theft against Suzara and former finance director Don Caringal at the National Bureau of Investigation in Manila.

“I will answer the complaint in the proper forum. I welcome any investigation or inquiry regarding the malicious accusations thrown against me,” Suzara said in a statement.

Laurel read the PSL statement saying that irregularities were discovered after a comprehensive audit conducted by an independent auditor hired by the PSL.

But Suzara vehemently denied all claims.

“Everything I did as President of PSL was above board, transparent, properly recorded and with full knowledge of the Board,” he said.
