GENERIKA-Ayala salvaged seventh place, beating Cherrylume, 25-19, 25-11, 23-25, 25-17, in the classification match of the Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at La Salle Lipa in Batangas.
Fiola Ceballos had 15 points, five digs and seven excellent receptions for the Life Savers.
National team member and Generika-Ayala skipper Gen Casugod added 13, Patty Orendain had 11 and Mikaela Lopez chipped in 10.
The Life Savers dominated the attacks, 56-31.
Generika setter Angelica Legacion had 23 excellent sets, while Laizah Bendong of Cherrylume had 11.
Mary Ann Mendrez scored 19 and University of the East teammate Judith Abil had 10 points for Cherrylume, which went winless in the tournament.
