F2 Logistics gave Sta. Lucia a rude farewell, 25-10, 25-14, 25-17, to earn the last semifinals ticket in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
It was a lopsided knockout quarterfinals affair as the Cargo Movers blasted the Lady Realtors in just 76 minutes.
Kalei Mau lifted the Cargo Movers with 17 points off 13 spikers and four blocks including nine digs to earn her first PSL semifinals.
Ara Galang delivered 11 points, while middle blockers Majoy Baron and Aby Marano added eight and seven markers, respectively.
“Sabi ko nga ito yung pinakaimportanteng game sa lahat so kung hindi ka mananalo dito, useless lahat ng pinaghirapan mo nung buong preliminaries,” said Cargo Movers head coach Ramil De Jesus. “So talagang yung mindset namin, manalo ngayong araw na to.”
F2 Logistics will be armed with twice-to-beat advantage against No. 3 Foton in the semifinals on Tuesday at the Muntinlupa Sports Center.
The other Final Four pairing is the twice-to-beat leader Petron facing the No.4 Cignal.
Sta. Lucia ended its All Filipino campaign losing 13 of its 15 games with Pam Lastimosa leading the last stand with 10 points.
Fil-Am hitter MJ Phillips, who went home to United States late in the second round due to personal matters, didn’t return even in their most important match of the conference.
