F2 Logistics avoided a meltdown from a hard-fighting Generika-Ayala, 25-19, 25-27, 25-22, 18-25, 15-13, to stay unbeaten in 10 games, preserving the solo lead in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at the Arena in San Juan City.

The Cargo Movers blew a 2-1 set lead, failing to close out the match in the fourth set and needed to recover from a 7-10 disadvantage in the decider as they committed five of their 32 errors.

Desiree Cheng stopped the bleeding before Ara Galang and Kianna Dy equalized the match, 11-all. Angeli Araneta kept the frame tied for Generika-Ayala afloat at 12 but she hurt her left knee after an awkward landing from a spike and failed to return.

Dy nailed a hit of her own putting F2 Logistics at match point, 14-12, before Patty Orendain saved a marker but Aby Maraño closed out the match with a dink to keep her team unbeaten in 10 games and survived a two-hour and 42-minute match.
