F2 Logistics annihilated Cocolife, 25-13, 25-16, 25-8, on Thursday for its third straight win in the 2018 Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at the Arena in San Juan City.
The Cargo Movers have yet to lose a single set in three matches.
National team skipper Aby Maraño led the Cargo Movers with 16 points on 10 kills, three blocks and three service aces. Her fellow Philippine team members Kianna Dy and Majoy Baron delivered 12 and 10 hits, respectively, while Cha Cruz added nine markers and had 12 digs and three excellent receptions.
Cargo Movers have played three matches this week, and coach Ramil De Jesus was pleased to get a day’s rest after the rout of Sta. Lucia on Tuesday night.
“Sabi ko naman before na kailangan ko lang na maka-recover 'yung mga bata,” De Jesus said. “Maganda talaga 'yung epekto ng pahinga sa kanila and nakakakuha sila ng mas magandang connection sa loob ng court.”
F2 Logistics tries to keep the win streak going when it battles Petron (2-0) on Saturday at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan City.
The Cargo Movers dominated the Asset Managers right from the get go and mounted their biggest lead, 19-5, in the third set. F2 Logistics outmuscled Cocolife in attacking department with a 49-13 edge.
Nobody scored in double figures for the Asset Managers with Fil-Am Kalei Mau coming up with five points.
Cocolife suffered their third straight loss and will try to bounce back against Smart (1-0) on Thursday next week.
