F2 Logistics coach Ramil de Jesus urged the Cargo Movers to put the loss to Petron behind them as they face Sta. Lucia in the knockout quarterfinals in the Philippine Super Liga Invitational Conference on Tuesday at Imus Sports Center.
The Cargo Movers missed an outright semis berth after losing to Petron on Saturday.
After the match, De Jesus kept his post-game huddle short as he reminded his wards to avoid committing the same mistakes when they go up against the Lady Realtors at 7 p.m.
“Hindi na pupwedeng matalo and kapag matalo ka eh ‘di wala na, alam naman nila ‘yun,” said de Jesus. “Sabi ko lang bounce back na lang and ganoon talaga wala naman gustong matalo eh.”
“Sa side namin maraming lapses, may mga times kasi na dumadating sa isang player na nagiging off eh kasi ‘yung mga simpleng execution hindi magawa, like ‘yung simpleng atake hindi na-execute ng tama at nag-not over pa,” said de Jesus.
De Jesus hopes national team members Aby Maraño, Cha Cruz-Behag, Kim Dy and Dawn Macandili will bounce back, while Ara Galang and Michelle Morente are again expected to deliver for F2 Logistics.
