F2 Logistics disposed of Cignal HD, 25-17, 25-16, 22-25, 25-9, in the playoff round to book a place in the semifinals of the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix at the PhilSports Arena on Sunday.
American imports Sydney Kemper and Hayley Spelman picked up the scoring load for F2 Logistics with 18 and 17 points, respectively, while Ara Galang added 13.
The Cargo Movers claimed third spot and will now face second-seed Petron in the knockout semifinals on December 3 in Legazpi City, Albay.
After a third set meltdown, the reigning All-Filipino champions romped to a 13-2 lead in the fourth set before Majoy Baron pushed F2 Logistics' lead to its biggest at 22-6.
"Ang sabi ko sa kanila, ang Cignal never natin na-straight sets kasi sa third set doon sila naghahanap ng kumbinasyon ng tao," said F2 Logistics coach Ramil de Jesus.
Laura Rae Schaudt finished with 14 points for Cignal, which will now play Generika for fifth place.
