IMUS CITY — F2 Logistics earned its third straight victory as it needed to survive a gritty Foton side, 25-9, 23-25, 25-22, 25-16, on Saturday in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at the Imus Sports Center here.
Open Spikers Ara Galang and Kalei Mau showed the way for the Cargo Movers, recovering from a second set stumble before eking out their third win in as many games to keep the solo lead.
Galang unleashed 20 points off 16 attacks, three service aces and a block including five excellent receptions, while Mau played through sore throat but still delivered 15 points laced up with 22 digs.
Majoy Baron was also instrumental with 11 points, providing five of the team’s seven kill blocks, as well as Aby Maraño and Kianna Dy adding nine and seven markers, respectively, while libero Dawn Macandili had 24 digs.
Shaya Adorador played her breakout game with 11 points including 14 digs leading Foton. Dindin Santiago-Manabat and Mina Aganon had nine points each, while Jaja Santiago was limited to just eight markers.
The Tornadoes gave up 34 errors as they dropped their second straight loss in three games tied with Sta. Lucia.
