F2 Logistics got a second chance to go for its second Philippine Super Liga title after securing the first PSL Grand Prix finals berth on Staurday, but Cargo Movers head coach Ramil de Jesus stressed that he's not pressuring the team but rather urging his wards to savor the opportunity.
After winning the 2016 All-Filipino Conference, F2 Logistics has yet to win its second title as it fell short against Petron in this year’s All-Filipino edition. De Jesus, though, is not feeling the pressure to win and added that his wards should not feel pressured as well.
“Ngayon hindi naman pressured na mag-champion pero ito unti-unti basta paghandaan lang ang mga susunod na game,” he said.
“(Pero) hindi naman lahat ng teams nagkakaroon ng chance makapasok ng Finals, so kami ‘yung nabigyan ng chance, so kung andito na i-grab na ang opportunity, paghandaan na kasi minsan lang ‘to,” he added.
F2 Logistics, meanwhile, will wait for the outcome of the other knockout semis match between Foton and Petron, which was still playing as of posting time.
The Cargo Movers snapped the Blaze Spikers’ three-game winning run when the former pulled off a four-set win, 25-21, 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, on November 4 in Bacolod.
But the Tornadoes gave the Cargo Movers a dose of their own medicine as Serbian import Sara Klisura dropped a league-high 41 points for Foton, 17-25, 32-30, 25- 9, 20-25, 16-14.
