F2 Logistics extended its winning streak to five with a 25-22, 25-19, 25-14 beating on Cignal to stay unbeaten in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday before a jam-packed crowd at the Cadiz City Arena.
Outside hitters Ara Galang and Kalei Mau lifted the Cargo Movers for a perfect 5-0 record sending the HD Spikers to its second straight defeat in just 62 minutes.
Galang led the charge with 12 points, while Mau nailed nine kills for 10 points and had 10 digs and six excellent receptions.
Middle blockers Aby Marano and Majoy Baron were also instrumental chipping in eight and seven markers, respectively. Setter Michelle Cobb paced the team with 14 excellent sets and fired three service aces in her four markers, while libero Dawn Macandili had 19 digs and seven excellent receptions.
“We didn’t expect to win in a sweep against Cignal which also has a ceiling and depth,” said head coach Ramil De Jesus . “But I guess, Cignal was just off tonight especially coming from a loss. We just had a better condition coming into this match.”
Cignal captain Rachel Ann Daquis was the lone bright spot for her team with 12 points as it dropped to 2-2 slate.
