F2 Logistics stretches unbeaten run to five and keeps Victoria Sports-UST winless

F2 Logistics cruised to its fifth straight win in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix, beating winless guest team Victoria Sports-University of Santo Tomas, 25-22, 25-19, 25-19, on Saturday at La Salle Lipa.

Venezuelan import Maria Jose Perez and American reinforcement Kennedy Bryan combined for 25 points as the Cargo Movers kept the top spot with a 5-0 win-loss record followed by Foton and Petron, both at 5-1.

Victoria Sports-UST absorbed its third straight-sets loss and fourth defeat overall.

F2 blew a 16-10 lead in the third set, allowing Victoria Sports to get to within one, 15-16, but quickly regained control. The Cargo Movers pushed their lead to 20-16 after a Christine Francisco service miscue.

Francisco led the Tigresses with 10 points, Carla Sandoval added nine markers, Japanese import Yukie Inamasu had eight, Dimdim Pacres had seven and skipper Shannen Palec chipped in with six.
