ERICA Wilson and Mylene Paat led the way as Cignal took down PLDT Home Fibr, 25-22, 27-25, 25-19, on Thursday for its first win in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix at the Arena in San Juan.
Wilson scored 21 points off 15 kills, five service aces and a block, while national team mainstay Paat had 12 spikes, five blocks and a pair of aces for 19 points.
Rachel Anne Daquis chipped in nine markers, while Cignal’s other import Anastasia Artemeva, an outside hitter, did fine as a middle blocker and delivered five points.
“Actually medyo may sinacrifice ako.
“This time wala akong nakikitang problema sa imports sana magtuloy tuloy.”
Cignal improved its win-loss record to 1-1, bouncing back from a four-set defeat to F2 Logistics last Tuesday.
