FROM a limited role in the import-laced conference, Elaine Kasilag is ready to prove her worth at Foton in the PSL All-Filipino Conference.

Kasilag made the most of a rare start, leading the Tornadoes to a big win over Sta. Lucia, and she is determined to work hard to keep pace with a team loaded with talent led by Jaja Santiago and Dindin Santiago-Manabat.

“Binigyan ako ng opportunity para maging first six, maglaro. Ang mindset ko lang is ako yung binigyan ng chance so gagampanan ko, gagawin ko lang yun,” said the wing spiker, who scored all her points from attacks.

Coach Aaron Velez said he was not surprised with Kasilag’s performance.
