COCOLIFE scored its first victory in the PSL All-Filipino Conference, beating Cherrylume, 25-16, 25-17, 25-11, on Thursday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
Michele Gumabao towed the Asset Managers with 15 points to post their initial win after bowing to Generika Ayala in their conference opener.
"Marami pa kaming kulang. Kung titignan mo sa line-up, wala kaming pandiin. Kailangan namin mag-strive hard para makagawa kami ng bagong star ng PSL. At least, hindi lang si Michele Gumabao," said Cocolife coach Kungfu Reyes.
Mary Ann Mendrez had 11 points for the Iron Lady Warriors, who fell to 0-2.
