CIGNAL secured its place in the finals of the Philippine SuperLiga All Filipino Conference as it downed winless Via Mare, 25-22, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20, on Wednesday night at Cuneta Astrodome.
Jay de la Cruz scored 16, Howard Mojica had 14 and Edmar Sanchez chipped in with 11 as the HD Spikers scored their fifth win in seven games.
They HD Spikers will face PLDT Home TVolution-Air Force (6-0) in the title match.
The top two teams after one round of eliminations will play in the final. Systema is a far third with a 3-4 record.
“Binigay talaga namin ang best namin para sa chance namin sa Finals,” said Cignal coach Macky Carino.
Giann Carlo Ramos had 16 points for Via Mare, which ended its campaign winless in six outings.
