ARA Galang is glad F2 got off to a winning start in the PSL All FIlipino, but admitted there is a lot of work to do to reach top form as the Cargo Movers hope to improve on their second place finish last season.
The Cargo Movers beat the Cignal HD Spikers in straight sets on Tuesday and will have a full week off before taking on Sta. Lucia.
“I-polish pa namin yung galaw namin sa loob ng court like magjell pa kami as a team,” said Galang.
“Yung volleyball naman siyempre pangperfect siya kasi yung error point siya ng kalaban. Kailangan din malessen yung error namin as individual and as a team.”
“Kapaan din naman yung first game since di pa naman namin nakita yung laro nung Cignal. Nag-enjoy lang kami, nagfocus lang kami sa galaw ng team.”
Galang had seven points, nine excellent receptions and eight digs, and the PSL Invitational MVP is hoping to do much better in the coming matches.
“Since nagawa ko yun last conference kailangan mamaintain ko (this All-Filipino) or kumbaga maexceed ko pa yung level ko,” said the 23-year-old Galang.
