AFTER going on 'beast mode' on social media, Aby Marano wants her teammates to do the same as F2 Logistics fights for dear life in the Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference finals.
Marano and defending champion F2 Logistics face a win-or-go-home situation in Game Two on Thursday at The Arena in San Juan after a 23-25, 21-25, 19-25 loss to Petron two days earlier at the Muntinlupa Sports Center.
The former La Salle star, who recently took to Twitter to air he side over issues hounding the national team, bound for the Southeast Asian Games, said that they should let out the beasts inside of them to extend the best-of-three championship series to a decider.
“Kung kailangan kumain kami ng tao, ganoon (ang gagawin namin),” said the outspoken F2 Logistics star, who only had six points in Game One.
“Ganoon ang bagay na nakuha namin from this game and 'yun din naman ang gusto ni coach Ramil (de Jesus),” she added.
Maranoand de Jesus also encouraged the rest in the team to put the disappointing Game One performance behind them and focus on Thursday's must-win game.
“Sabi ko sa kanila na kapag may inisip tayo na isang doubt lang, ang bagay na 'yun magiging malaki. So kailangan alalahanin natin ang kaya nating gawin,” she said.
“Sabi ko nga sa kanila, it’s a test of character. Hindi binibigay ng Panginoon ang isang panalo nang madali lang, kailangan nating paghirapan ito,” she added.
