St. Benilde, San Sebastian down foes to cop third wins in NCAA women's volley

COLLEGE of St. Benilde and San Sebastian College disposed their respective foes in the NCAA Season 94 women’s volleyball tournament on Tuesday at The Arena in San Juan.

CSB swept Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-11, 25-20, 25-13.

Klarisa Abriam finished with 14 points, all from spikes, for the Lady Blazers, while Rachel Anne Austero chiped in nine and Jan Dagul had eight as the Taft-based squad improved to 3-1.

Jaylene Lumbo tallied eight points for EAC (0-4).

Meanwhile, SSC downed Letran, 25-22, 25-16, 25-22, to cop its third win in four outings.

Iris Oliveros made 10 points for the Recto-based squad, team captain Joyce Sta. Rita, Nikka Dalisay, Maryrhose Dapol and Shane Requierme each had eight markers.

Skipper Miracle Mendoza made eight points for Letran, which slid to 1-3.
