PHILIPPINE Air Force started its campaign with an easy win over newcomer 100 Plus, 25-11, 25-16, 25-23, in the 2nd Spikers’ Turf Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Saturday.
Former University of Santo Tomas skipper Mark Alfafara and National University alum Reyson Fuentes led the way with 12 points apiece for the Jet Spikers, who look to improve on their runner-up finish last season.
Veteran setter Jessie Lopez registered 22 excellent for Air Force, which also came from a successful title run in the Open Conference two months ago.
Jasper Adorador finished with 11 points for 100 Plus.
