TWENTY-FOUR teams vie for the biggest edition of the Spikers’ Turf Open Conference, which fires on August 20.

Ten club teams and 14 schools will be divided in four groups to clash for the Open Conference crown.

Newly crowned Reinforced Conference champion Cignal and Open Conference reigning titlist Go For Gold-Air Force lead the 10 club teams with PLDT, Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Coast Guard, IEM, VNS Volleyball Club, Easytrip-Raimol and newcomer Philippine National Police.

    National University will continue representing its club Sta. Elena, while UAAP Season 81 silver medalist Far Eastern University, Ateneo, University of Santo Tomas, Adamson University, and De La Salle University also expressed their commitment to the Sports Vision.

    University of Perpetual Help System-Dalta will lead the NCAA squads Emilio Aguinaldo College, Arellano University, San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Mapua University, and Lyceum of the Philippines University.

    Centro Escolar University, and National College of Business and Arts complete the 24-team conference.

    Ranran Abdilla leads the Jet Spikers' title-retention bid.

    There will be four pools consisting of six squads which will feature a single-round robin.

    The top two teams per pool will advance to the quarterfinals stage. The top-seeded squads will be armed with a twice-to-bet incentive.

    Top-ranked teams from Pool A will be facing teams from Pool C in Group One while Pool B will be squaring off against Pool D in Group B with the survivors clashing in a best-of-three semifinals series.
