China club makes short work of Iranian side in Asian Women's Club Championship

Jingsi Shen and the Chinese squad have no problem getting past the Iranian team. 

BINAN — Ba'yi Shenzheng of China clobbered Sarmayeh Bank of Iran, 25-18, 25-19, 25-14, on Tuesday in the classification round to determine the quarterfinals matchups in the 2016 AVC Asian Women's Club Championship at Alonte Sports Arena.

Wang Yun Lu and Liu Yan Han scored 16 points, while Yan Jun Jing added 13 for Ba'yi Shenzheng.

Liu had 15 kills as Ba'yi Shenzheng posted a total of 41 hits against 29 by Sarmayeh Bank.

The Chinese squad also limited its errors to 13 and earned 25 points from the Iranians' miscues.

Ba'yi Shenzheng will face Bangkok Glass of Thailand on Wednesday.

Mahsa Kadkhoda scored nine points for Sarmayeh Bank Iran, which next takes on Chinese Taipei.
